Always a pleasure to visit.

Whatever the season an enjoyable visit. Feed the birds by the lake, children happy in the well kept play area, a nice café to call in, or just stroll around the rose gardens.

Great children's play area. Suits ages up to 10 ish. Beautifully maintained gardens and park area to walk around and picnic in. Boating lake with ducks and swans. Rowing boats available to hire in the summer. Great place to visit with children.

My family and I walked round the lake but my daughter has enjoyed renting a boat and rowing on another occasion. I like the different trees and the small glass house. The only problem is that Roath Park is very popular in the summer which means long queues for the icecreams!

I recently visited Roath Park again as I had a little time to spare and the sun was shining. One great advantage of the Park is that although there are no car parks, one can virtually always find a parking space on a weekday in the roads that go round the park. As always it provided a very pleasant place... More

we regularly take our children here. they can play in the park and then, feed the ducks as well. it is really scenic and beautiful. in the summer [not sure if you can in the winter] you can hire a boat and take a trip around the lake.

This park has a lovely lake on which to boat, plenty of green space to enjoy and a massive playground for kids to run around in. It's the best park in Cardiff and unbeatable on a summer day!

Went with visitors from abroad and was ashamed to have taken them to this cafe. The place was quite dirty and the paninis we had were awful. They use the cheapest white squishy roll instead of proper panini bread! The children's' lunch contained a pear. I have yet to find a 5-year-old who likes pears. What's wrong with a mini... More

This time of year the wonderful array of colours on the trees are outstanding. Always a lovely walk, and great light exercise, a walk around the whole park takes only half and hour. Beautiful scenery, clean toilets, and coffee shop and boats on the lake what more could you need for a few hours our in the air.

I absolutely love coming to Roath Park. It is stunning all year round especially autumn when the leaves are changing colours. The view from everywhere around the lake is beautiful. From dog walkers, runners, mothers pushing their newborn babies in their prams, families, couples - this scenic walk is great for everyone and is always something free to do for... More
