A park in the middle of a city. Local people rave about it but I think it's a bit of a dump. It's busy and there's not much there other than a lighthouse, paddle boats and some ducks. Don't plan a day trip. It's just...More

It is always such a pleasure to take a walk around Roath Park, even in winter. There are the formal gardens, the lake, the children's park and the greenhouse. What a wonderful asset to the city of Cardiff.

Best to visit the greenhouse first and take a walk around the park and time permitting around the lake. Also has a very nice playground for the children.
