The river Taff runs right through Cardiff, through bute park, past the Principality stadium and into Cardiff Bay. Bute park is a great place to see this famous river.

Our hotel room overlooked the river and we took a river trip along it, from Bute Park to Cardiff Bay. Very pleasant to walk along the towpath, lots to see along the way.

By catching the water boat, or taxi from Bute Park (just behind Cardiff Castle), you can enjoy a leisurely ride down the river to the Bay area. A great and different way to see the city

Take a boat along the river down to the bay. Stay a while and take a tranquil ride back. Only a couple of quid and the whole family can enjoy.

Hi Sheila, the Millennium Stadium is almost right next to Cardiff Central railway station to the west. You should see it as you come into Cardiff station and it is well sign-posted from the station.
