Nice big area to walk around. Kids took bikes and struggled up some of the hills. Worth it when we got to the Observatory and Sultan the Pony. Tired kids by the end. Only complaint is the constant barrage of dog turds to wade through....More

A nice place to spend some quality time with a family, wonderful area full of little surprises, the flowers are in abundance the wild life butterflies etc are amazing

Lovely views, variety of open space, wood lands and lake to paddle in. The dog loves it here. Need cash to park though.

I really love Parc Penallta and have been walking here with my dog for over 8 years, its beautiful in all seasons, in the summer its in full bloom and looks wonderful and in the Autumn its colours are breathtaking, its absolutely perfect for walking...More

Perfect for walking dogs off the lead, massive green space by the pit pony sculpture to give your dog a run around. No toilets here or coffee hut though! Plenty of parking for a small fee. Lovely streams, fishing lake and pond. Lots of different...More

As I live very close to the park I visit weekly. There is a park run every Saturday morning at 9am. Lots lovely routes to walk my dogs and lots of children's educational activities. My 2yr old niece loves to bring her trike here.

There would be no problem seeing him quickly, There is a fantastic viewing point, where you can stand and see him, Have a nice time.

hi i just googled it. bus c16 caerphilly to nelson. service c17 bargoed to caerphilly. im pretty sure there was a bus stop near by. parc penalta phone number 01443 816853 they could probably tell you a bit better.x
