Lovely, peaceful walk and great food in the cafe!

Visited here for a walk with the dogs one grey afternoon in March. Very peaceful surroundings and lots of little paths to follow through woodland. Followed a circular path which followed the river back to the car park. Dogs loved a splash! Finished off with a coffee and sandwich in the coffee shop which was amazing. So fresh. The park... More

Have known this area since a child. It was in private ownership then with a lodge and keeper. It has fabulous walks in woodlands and along the river. The main building is now company owned and therefore not open to public which is a shame. The restaurant cafe by the car park I can totally recommend. Great areas for children... More

Nature, nature all around, a lovely walk was had by all and at the end, a well earned cup of coffee and a bite to eat. As it was fine and sunny we elected to sit outside the cafe and were rewarded with a wealth of birds coming to feed on the bird feeders. A fabulous day out whatever your... More

Disgusted to witness 5 women with infants thrown out for feeding them baby food bought offsite. Shocking. The 5 women were in process of ordering food for themselves.

Lovely place for walking or picniking. Dogs welcome mainly on leads I think. However it's very scenic and plenty of parking. Cafe is excellent with gorgeous home cooked foods.

A nice family park to come to for a few hours. Unfortunately I came on Christmas Eve when everything was closed so I can't really give a whole opinion on everything in this park. There is a children's play park, and the Oriental Garden is great - lots of statues and displays with well constructed paths. Walking routes are really... More
