The actual Heritage Centre is closed due to cutbacks. We had a guided tour round the Ironworks though and that was really interesting. They need plenty of support to keep going so do go !!

Lovely little museum full of history and very informative. Guide was fantastic and took us round explaining everything. This museum is a gem and such a shame its going to be closed because of Council cutbacks

Set in the old Bersham village school there is a good variety of information linking into Bersham's history and the Wilkinson family. Special quizes and activities aimed for children.

Its set in a victorian primay school, so just 4 rooms of industrial history. Mining and steel history mostly. Its too small to make a special trip but that also means its free. Theres a small kids park so with that you can spend an...More

They work very hard at this museum, it's always fun - great for kids too! Not just for adults - the old school desks and display is always a hit for the little ones (and not so little!)
