Fantastic views across the Snowdonian mountains, it doesn't matter what the weather is like, it is irresistible not to go out and explore this lovely countryside with so many individual walks to choose from you can come back to Betws-y-Coed time and time again.

Camping at Swallow Falls Hotel opposite, we decided to nip across the road to have a look at this attraction. Little bit miffed at why we had to pay to view a waterfall, but assumed the money would go towards the upkeep of the National...More

Hard to describe because it's just beautiful. Quite mesmerising with the water pouring down the falls. Could have stayed there ages just watching and listening. Well worth a visit and take some time out your day to do.

We stumbled upon the Falls by looking at a map in Betsy-y-coed. Not easy to find on the road leading up to them and only enough parking for a few cars. Look for the small pull off parking on the right as you head out...More

Since when is it acceptable to charge £2 to see a natural waterfall? They’ve even unnaturally built up the trees and shrubs around it so you can’t even get a glimpse without paying. Daylight robbery - don’t waste your money.

The £2 each that you need in coins to get through the turnstile is well worth the views on the other side. There are walkways up and down so the falls can be seen from different perspectives and there are also benches to sit and...More

Visited Swallow Falls, it's definitely worth a visit, however don't forget to take pound coins with you as it's £2.00 each to get through turn stile.

Beautiful falls, however it is £2.00 to park and £2.00 each through an unmanned turnstile, and it is railed off so as there is limited walking space. We had seen everything in 15 mins.

Very beautiful but bit pricey as very small area to see and photographers being inconsiderate. But very nice spot to relax

Absolutely, there's no one to restrict you from that (though it might be a trick getting a dog through the pay turnstile without paying separately) - keep the dog on a leash, the stairs are rather tall, and can be slippery.

We don't have a dog so am not certain, although we did se people with dogs on our walk. However, if dogs are permitted it would be dangerous to let them off the lead as they could fall into the fast flowing river
