This little gem of a beauty spot is hidden away from the main tourist routes and you'll only find it if you know it's there. I have been wanting to photograph this location for a number of years and finally managed to get around to...More

We had an hour to kill whilst waiting to check into our B&B so thought we'd go here even though it was raining. It was a lovely little walk and we enjoyed watching the local wildlife. Very peaceful place, especially with the sound of the...More

There was a nice walk round the trail here with the best bit the actual glen. A beautiful shaded spot down between high mossy rock walls. Cool and green and nice to sit and watch the river flow by. It was nice and quiet.

My husband and I are senior citizens - we like to think of ourselves as pretty fit for our age but the Victorian steps leading down to the gorge were too much for us. We got half way down and then saw that the rest...More

Lovely place to walk. Some steep steps/rocks but the Glen is a lovely spot to take photos. Walked along the river afterwards too.

I have been to this scenic place couple of times so far. Ideal for a Sunday trip. From my own experience, best time of the year to visit the place would be Autumn, when the trees are golden or red, Fairy Glen looks spectacular. Make...More
