Was very interesting inside and spent quite a while looking all round, very old and quite small. There was a very ancient yew tree in the churchyard.

St Michaels , the oldest building in Betws-y-Coed, stands in grounds with 1000 year old Yew trees by the River Conwy in a beautiful setting.The history and ambiance of this church make it a worthwhile visit - a serene experience .

As the title suggests I was in here to take shelter from the rain, I was able o enjoy the architecture and the history of the building which was fascinating.

A gorgeous little church steeped in history.. I wandered through the church yard , it's so beautiful with the sunlight reaching through the trees, a peaceful place to wander and contemplate , I'll definitely return

We walked through the grounds on our way to our river walk each day, but even in doing this, the history of the church was plain to see. The oldest gravestone I spotted was dated 1696.... anyone found any older??
