This is my second time joining a Go Below underground tour. Last year, I joined the Challenge trip, and this time I joined the ultimate extreme trip. The trips are indeed challenging and exhausting, but are lots of fun. Safety equipments of good quality are provided and the tour guides (Elton and Sonia for my tour) are extremely nice. They... My partner and I had a fantastic day out completing the Go Below Challenge adventure course! We were 2 of 14 'challengers' being guided by Saul and Steve, both whom as guides were confident, encouraging, understanding and full of knowledge about the history of the quarry and mines which we were adventuring through as well as the obstacles/tasks we would... My partner and I had an excellent time here. Our guides, Sonia and Elton, were lovely and a good laugh. We were in good hands, they were clearly very experienced and we felt very safe. We really enjoyed the course, it was mentally challenging and it was difficult to balance in places - which was very exciting. It wasn't as... More

We took the Extreme trip today and spent a little over six hours of climbing vertical slate walls, rappelling in to the darkness, traversing ancient timber bridges, scrambling around single plank wide walkways over abysses and taking a 70 foot leap off a cliff, all underground in a disused Welsh Slate mine. The excursion leaders Matt, Aaron and Dom were... More

This was our first time @Go Below and loved every minute of it. The Convy Falls base has a cafe on site which serves a range of freshly made cakes to full breakfast menu. Our tour leader was Mick, we were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to undertake this experience with him as he was very knowledgeable in... More

We did the go below extreme adventure on Friday 19th may as part of a stag do week. 8 of us went on the guided extreme tour of the mines and every one of us LOVED it!!! This is the best experience we did in snowdon, and by far the most extreme. Even the few of us scared of heights... More

Did the Go Below Ultimate Xtreme Challenge a couple of weeks ago and it was so good! It was bought as a surprise for my boyfriend and we both loved the day. The staff were helpful when required (though the group were of a fit standard and managed on their own), and gave a lot of interesting information about the... More

Wow just WOW!!!! There were 6 of us in our group (we paid for 9 people so we could have a private group). Our ages ranged from 17 years to 50 and we were all shapes and sizes! Our guide, Andy, was very knowledgeable, patient and fun. He not only helped us through all the challenges but throughout the day... More

Being typical wales we were faced with a day of our holiday being torrential rain and gail force winds. We had heard about this and knew it ran in all weathers which made it an ideal way to spend the day. we did the ultimate extreme I wouldnt recommend anything less than this if you want some excitement. If you... More
