This is a beautiful part of Anglesey with ready access to cliff top walks and strolls along the beach. You can walk to Benlech if the tide permits and back at Red Wharf Bay you have a choice of restaurants and a pub serving good...More

Visited area late September so not so many tourists etc at this time and it’s just so peaceful and great to walk the dog along the wide clean beach

After an early evening dinner we had a lovely walk as the tide was out. Look forward to returning next year with the dog. Has a decent size car park and a couple of pubs/restaurants to choose from.

Don’t be put off Anglesey by the very few beaches that restrict dogs. Most of Anglesey’s beaches have no dog restrictions at all. Try the prettier side of the island; Rhoscolyn, Rhosneigr, Aberffraw. All dog friendly... More

I know RWB well and it is OK down towards St David's which is only ten mins walk away, however up by The Ship it can get very muddy and I would avoid it. I've had fun with my kids walking in the estuary at low tide and... More
