Excellent event. 24 nations this year with fantastic choirs and dancers. Lots of colour and a wide variety of music. Although it is an eisteddfod it is not overwhelmingly Welsh.

Our second year visiting, my husband and I attended to support our daughter who was performing in 5 categories with her choir. Absolutely amazing, atmosphere, volunteers and weather were out of this world. This has to go on everyone’s bucket list to attend !

Easy to find and easy to park. Plenty going on aside from the choral competitions in the main pavilion. We highly recommend the outside stages although the midday sun and elusive shaded areas in 30 degree heat impacted a little on our enjoyment...not a huge...More

Great festival, wonderful setting and really well organised. Enjoyed it all other than Van Morrison. Van didn’t seem to want to be there and just grind out one song after another, no chat, zero charisma and then left without anyone noticing. Might be a gifted...More

I stayed in the Royal in the centre one year, and if you do not have transport one of the local hotels would be sensible. Book early as many people do come every year and sometimes the prices will go up nearer the date. They... More
