Lovely walk along the tow path through great scenery. Barges pass by with some being horse drawn. Lovely canal-side cottages and gardens. You can walk as far as you like.

This canal has wonderful countryside around and some of the best canal sights in the world especially the aqueducts. For the walker they would be impressed and could never get bored.

Walking around here is just amazing there is so much to see and do. Walk up the hill to the remains of the castle. Incredible views.

Scenic walk along the canal. Very narrow bridge with stunning views in both sides. Really nice on a sunny day

This really is a must see spot. Walk as far as you like - there's plenty to see and admire walking across the viaduct. Makes you realise what an amazing feat of engineering this is. Always fin to watch the barges negotiate their way across....More

Fabulous walk to the viaduct from Llangollen; about a 9 mile round trip plus you can walk the other way to where the canal commences; fascinating engineering and there’s a coffee shop between Llangollen and where the canal starts
