Great walk, dogs loved it.

What a fantastic walk this is. The view changes around every corner and seems a wonderful way to travel. That's on our to do list.

We walked across the viaduct and the views are amazing . The trip on a boat along the canal was not running, so instead in Llangollen we went on a canal boat pulled by a shire horse. This was a great trip, and the town itself is spectacular. If possible do all three and take your time as it is... More

Absolutely beautiful day out with walks along the canal and river to watch water rafting and kayaking. The old railway station is a lovely little place with a good tea shop/cafe. The Britannia Inn is a beautiful pub/hotel and right at the cusp of Horseshoe Falls. Great for hikers and general family walks and a car park for a couple... More

Over the past four months we have been drawn to Llangollen were we have walked the canal numerous times, walking from the cafe past Chirk. Covering some 20 miles plus for our charity. The views are outstanding and are well worth a visit

We came to the area on our boat and really don't want to leave. Everything you need is within walking distance from the canal. The canal itself is beautiful with views that are just stunning. You can walk up to Horseshoe Falls alongside the river or down to the aqueduct if you're feeling energetic! The path itself is wide and easy... More

The narrow boat was picked up in Llangollen and motored for about one and a quarter hours to an Aqueduct that is considered one of the wonders of Wales. The water is drawn from the fiver Dee some 4 miles back and so the canal is constantly filled. The trip is slow, and used to be done by horse drawn narrow... More

A wonderful place to visit with views to die for. Take in the views and make sure you view the Pontcysyllte aqueduct both from above and below.
