On our visit there was a diesel rather than a steam engine, but this actually lead to great views! Thoroughly enjoyable.

Spent a couple of hours on the wonderfully scenic train journey. Was excellent value for money. The stations are beautifully kept and all the staff very friendly. A must when in Llangollen.

Had a wonderful time, managed in one day to ride the entire line twice and be pulled for part of it by all 5 of the steam engines on duty.

there were 2 dogs on board when we did it in October but it was very quiet. I would ring and check if doing it in a busy period.
