Standing beneath the magnificence of Conwy castle, Sy Mary's is worth crossing the road for. Of the same vintage as it's big brother castle, this is a must see church.

Church has excellent central location to the beautiful town of Comwy, with footpaths crossing through the churchyard. Really disappointed that the church was closed, and whist I fully appreciate the security issues - a closed church is an opportunity missed. Churchyard in need of some love and care.

It seems that where ever we walked there was an entrance to the grounds of this beautiful church which was once the dite of a great monastery. The church is beautiful and is where Wordsmorth penned the poem We are Seven. The graveyard not to be missed and there are seats for you to sit and enjoy the peace.

This is my regular place of worship where all are welcome. It is a lovely church and full of history. It's origins were a Cistercian Abbey whose foundations were first marked out in 1172AD The church has many features of special interest including what is considered one of the finest rood screens in North Wales and worthy of a visit.... Fascinating to learn about the long history of the church. The staff on duty were very helpful and supplied us with a leaflet for our walk around. Paritciularly interesting age the stained glass windows

The church is well hidden in the middle of the town, behind all other buildings. It is a charming and atmospheric place, good for a quiet prayer. We visited the church twice recently, for the Conwy Classic Music Festival, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

I love this church! The surroundings are serene and I enjoyed studying many of the very old gravestones. There is also access through to the high street.
