Although you can no longer walk all the way round the walls are easily accessible and the views excellent

Great free attraction and you really can appreciate the defensive qualities of the ramparts after you ascend the sometimes steep wooden steps. Interrupted by towers with arrow slits.

Very interesting experience walking the 1.3km walls. Great feeling of history about the place. One could imagine the sentries on duty on the walls and the feeling of anticipation of marauders!

If visiting Conwy the wall walk is a must for the view. You can access the walls at different locations and dependent on which way you choose will decide if you have uphill sections to contend with. Be aware if you have small children with you however because there are edges that have rails with gaps and you could lose... More

It`s like traveling back in time when you walk around the walls in Conwy. The walls itself is a fantastic experience narrow and steep. The view just get better and better until you reach the far corner of the wall with it`s high tower. If you visit Conwy its a must to walk around the city walls

The town walls are amazing and circle the whole of the town. You really do get a seagulls view of the town. It's such a great FREE attraction and is great for kids, adults and even dogs (as long as they don't pull! and aren't too big, the walk way is quite narrow and uneven in places) You can walk... If you don't want to visit the castle then then next best thing for experiencing the medieval Conwy is to take the wall walk. It allows for good views and photo opportunities of the castle, Conwy itself and the surrounding.

Get the best view of Conwy and the surrounding area from the walls. Free of charge and you can climb and leave from several spots. Recommend park near the castle and walk round from near the rail station, this is the highest section. Be careful if it is raining, the steps can be slippery.
