The market normally held on a Tuesday seems to have almost everything you would expect from a local market. As well as the inside market, there are plenty of stalls outside. Definitely recommend a visit.

Great inside little market for local foods with some tacky other stuff, but overall a great indoor market and friendly people, well worth the visit selling different things on different days , really enjoyed the day put here .

What a pleasure to visit Abergavenny and stroll down its streets. Was a Sunday and the local Market was open displaying a variety of stalls from food, local produces, antiques etc. Would recommend especially visiting the Castle.

Attractive market with a good mix of stalls - we really liked the freshly made Welshcakes from the bakery stall.

Good mix of bric-a-brac, fruit, meat, "antiques" that's much more interesting that your average flea market. It's worth seeking out and wandering around for a while.

A visit to the market is always interesting to discover the wares of local producers. Many stalls with a variety of food, clothes, household products, books, jewellery and so much to choose from. Always so much more satisfying than calling to the supermarket, knowing that...More
