Rummers

A lively establishment with a good range of beers and wine and lots of live music with great pizzas available.

Great live music, a different band every night! Lovely staff and a good variety of drinks at a reasonable price. I especially like gin Thursdays where gin is 80p a shot! Would definitely recommend to a friend!!

I decided to take a visiting friend here (twice) last night for Pizza (using EGO tokens) but unusually and embarrassingly both Rummers and the storehouse were closed at 5:30 & 6:45pm.. so very disappointing as it is a lovely place, and as the vouchers were only valid for Wednesdays. There was no indication why it was closed although the storehouse... More

This is a lovely old building on the river with fair prices and LOTS of gigs. Make sure you know whats on when you go - there is a smoking patio with heating in winter - sometimes a little too crowded with the uni crowd, but that can't be helped!

Brilliant live band and reasonably priced drinks. Really good atmosphere. Wide age range of clientele. We had a really good time, danced most of the evening.

Definitely the best pizza in Aber and a strong contender for best pub too. It's in a great location by the river and bridge with plenty of outside seating if it's nice and lots of indoor space if it's not. Always a good selection of beers and regular, good, live music. The service is friendly and the food, especially the... More

I am so old that I remember Aberystwyth before this place opened (about forty years ago?) My first visit was late on a Friday night. The place was packed, but drinks were served surprisingly quickly. The beer was good. The music was good but very loud. The atmosphere was sociable. We sat outside in the damp and enjoyed a convivial... More

We have been to rummers a handful of times during various stays in Aberystwyth. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere, staff are friendly, mixture of older and young customers, we have been lucky enough to see a few live bands here which have always been great.

Very enjoyable stop off before a big night out. Relatively cheap, lots of chillout space outside, inside very busy which is unfortunate if the weather's bad but obviously that's out of their hands
