This is a wonderful old pub that has not been modernised, thank goodness!
Service was excellent and my sizzle steak platter was incredible. Would have been 5 stars but my husband's fish was a bit greasy (nothing worth complaining about though). Will definitely be back.
We love this pub! And the lovely couple that run it are wonderful and warm.
We had beef on Sunday and it was delicious! Nice friendly locals, dog friendly and just a proper old fashioned pub!

Loved the roaring fires, were made very welcome, friendly staff. Had roast beef with all the trimmings, lovely pink beef, ( by request) good portions, and great selection of real ales.....what's not to like
