We visited the cathedral over Christmas. There was an amazing Christmas tree display and art display. The cathedral is a joy to see, so rich in history and well maintained. Well worth a visit

This is a mighty cathedral and every corner of my vision delighted in some utterly beautiful detail while I was there. The faces of the statues on the High Altar are remarkably life-like. A wonderful atmosphere pervades the entire building. (My name is not "Pete").

We went for a Christmas carol service in a packed Cathedral. We enjoyed the choir singing very much. But is is worth the detour to visit this beautiful Cathedral, sit quiet on a pew and take in the beauty and lovely atmosphere.

We went just after Christmas so all the decorations were up. It was so beautiful, really worth a visit if you’re local to it.

Officially no, but there is a "suggested" donation of about £7.00. I didn't officially donate but, as I took lots of photos, I was happy to pay £3.00 for a photography permit and, because I got so much from my visit, I made... More
