Amazing building with beautiful pastel coloured stonework. Fantastic history with medieval tiles and stained glass windows.

I popped into the Great Malvern Priory when I was staying in Malvern for Christmas. The church is beautiful, it dates back to 1085. The stained glass windows date back to the Middle Ages and is the second best windows after York Minster.

I visited the Priory with my wife for the Christmas morning service and a few days later for a Christmas carol concert which raised funds for a local charity. Both visits were greatly enjoyed. On both occasions the nave was full to bursting with the congregation. Large churches take a lot of maintaining and, for special occasions, decorating. The team... More

After visiting Malvern over many years to walk the hills I had never ventured into the town until this year. What a treat. The Priory had opened its doors for the Christmas fair. Hot drinks and cakes given free, and arrived in time for the local WI demonstration of hand bells - lovely. The inside of the priory is stunning.... More

Little to add to the other reviews; a very impressive building, obviously treasured by the locals, of whom many seem to be in attendance during the day and are very welcoming and helpful. As we were there on a Sunday we attended evensong which - as a traditionalist - I was pleased to find was according to the Book of... More

I'm biased because I love large churches and cathedrals. Malvern has a warm and friendly feel to it that encourages a longer linger. The little shop was tasteful and not too commercial.

We visited late on an autumn afternoon and the Priory was nearly empty. Greatly enjoyed the many facets and styles of the building and it's wonderful atmosphere. Not a lot else worth visiting in the town but I would highly recommend a short walk though the park and time spent in this special building.

Malvern Priory is well worth a visit. The architecture is outstanding and the stained glass is out of this world. It dates back to the ninth century and it is hard to believe how this marvellous building was constructed to such a high quality all those years ago, it is truly magnificent, look up to the ceiling you will be...
