Fantastic experience, and at a terrific price point! I traveled solo for a few days with Steve. It was like – and frankly turned into – traveling with a new friend. Great conversation, so much information about the land, the history, and even fun ghost stories! Steve has so much integrity and was extremely helpful, if not downright accommodating in many ways, to ensure I had the trip I envisioned.
My 1st day, I wanted to venture to Wales, instead, for some specific sights I was interested in. It was a last-minute change, but Steve was flexible, ready for the adventure, and came with valuable suggestions and ideas on how to improve upon my excursion. Day 2 was a plan of Steve’s design through the Cotswolds, and it was a blast: sprinkled with introductions to artisan craftsman (ex: a silversmith) and plenty of room for me to explore areas for myself. Day 3 included venturing to lovely ruins and hearing some spooky stories of people and events, past and present. Steve was thoughtful in his planning and routes to ensure we were able to make the most of the daylight and landscapes. And because I had also folded in reservations for Falconry (with Walk with Hawks) and dinner at some choice spots, Steve also helped me plan so that I could save money between stops.
A few tips:
1) Communicate upfront about wants and itinerary. Had I done a better job communicating long before my arrival, Steve could have helped me save so much more money and effort in the way of travel to the Cotswolds. He’s very knowledgeable about other regions so planning would be much smoother and cost effective with earlier discussions.
2) For those unfamiliar with international travel, make sure you pay attention and have a backup plan in case of a strike with the Rail Systems. This is not unique to the UK, and thankfully my travel was not impacted. But there was a strike taking place during my days in country and I could rest easy knowing I had a backup plan at the ready.
3) Don’t be shy: meaning, if there are things you want or time you need to yourself, express that. The trip is your own and if you communicate with the driver, the trip can truly be what you want it to be. I was very open about what areas or aspects I cared more or less about. I would let Steve know when I wanted company and a pint in a pub, when I was wanting to explore some areas solo, or stop for pictures. I have a hard time imagining anyone could have a bad experience with this company but, if they do, I’m 100% sure it’s on the customer.
Thank you, Steve and Cotswold Executive Cabs!!!!!

We were very lucky that we were able to book Cotswold Executive Cabs for a last minute two days trip to the Cotswold.
Their responses when planning our trip were very helpful and efficient and they came up with two good itineraries for two half-day routes around the North Cotswold. They did everything they could to make us feel safe including cleaning the cars carefully, providing sanitizer and best of all they had installed protective screens behind the drivers. We had two different cars over the two trips, and both were well maintained and comfortable. Both drivers Tina and Matt were extremely knowledgeable of the local area and took very interesting routes between villages in order to show us more things. They were very patient for our photo stops and helped us when we had trouble a couple of times getting into our accommodation.
Overall, we cannot praise Cotswold Executive Cabs high enough and highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip this beautiful part of England.

After being banned from driving for 6 months following reaching 12 points, I needed to find a local company to collect me every day from my remote cottage at the back of Broadway Tower and take to to Stratford Upon Avon train station for my commute to Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Liverpool.
Not only did they pick me up every day on time, they were flexible with train delays in collecting me late at night, not late once.!!! Being late for work was my biggest fear following my ban but within in a week of using Mogg, Tina, Matt and Tim I knew they would always be there, and that has they were for 6 months until my ban was over in November 2022.
Thanks Mogg, Tina, Matt and of course Tim. E

We had a fantastic experience with Steve, and Matt driving us over a three day period. We did two walking tours where they picked us up at our house and drove us to our starting points and then picked us up at the completion of our walks. Recommended great pubs for beer and food along the way. It wasn’t just a taxi service, but rather an experience. We spent one whole day with Matt driving us around small villages and Hidecote Gardens, and Broadway Tower. The service is impeccable, and their knowledge of the area is beyond compare since the family owned business is headquartered there and all of them grew up in the region. Both Steve and Matt knew Many hidden gems off the beaten path including the Donington brewery… Where we found the “honesty box“ and bought a few Donington beers. You can’t go wrong with this excellent approach to sightseeing in the Cotswolds. They also drove us from the Cotswolds to our hotel in London at the end of our trip and that was fantastic as well.

If you want to relax and see the best of the Cotswolds, with a brilliant driver, then you want to reserve Steve in advance. We had booked Executive Cabs for one trip, but ended up booking him for multiple tours/transfers during our stay. Steve was intuitive about what we would like to see, based on our conversations with him. And it is evident that he loves this area, and wants his clients to love it too! We were blessed to have Tina and Matt as additional drivers for a couple of quick trips, and they were equally professional and charming. We will definitely be contacting Steve and company when we return to this beautiful area!

Steve took my friends and I on a 5 hour long tour that was incredible. From Steve’s personal knowledge, to him showing us the Cotswold’s private gems, this tour was unmatched. We thoroughly enjoyed his insight and his professionalism while we visited this beautiful country!

Steve is an incredible guide to the area; full of local lore, history, and great recommendations for pubs, wonderful views, picturesque villages and pretty much anything you need in the Cotswolds. And he has a marvelous personality and an obvious love and passion for what he does. We used Cotswolds Executive Cabs exclusively for everything from picking us up at the train station, to taking us to dinner, to full day excursions and tours. Making arrangements was easy, the vehicles were comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the customer service was exceptional. I can’t recommend them highly enough and would use Steve and his team again in a heartbeat.

Cotswold Executive Cabs were recommended to us by the manager of Abbots Grange Manor House Hotel located in Broadway, Worcestershire, UK. Matt Magee was our very knowledgeable and experienced driver for 2 1/2 days. He was not only an excellent driver, but very resourceful and experienced and tailored our tour to our requests and his knowledge. As a lifelong resident of the Cotswolds he has many special places that are not on anyone else's radar. We highly recommend Matt to anyone hoping to have a great tour of the Cotswolds!

We had a great experience all the way around. Steve helped us with alternative train options into the area after strikes disrupted service. Mark was our driver and was a consummate professional. He was knowledgeable, interesting and definitely hit the places we were interested in. He also did a great job at showing the Tolkien connected things of interest to my husband. We had a perfect day, saw lovely cottages, picturesque streams, sweet lambs, beautiful gardens and more. We learned a bit along the way. We were all so happy with everything including the vehicle and the lunch spot Mark suggested. Great day and a wonderful experience. We’d definitely use them again!

We went to Chipping Campden for a wedding with several events over three days.
Steve was always prompt with his emails while we planned our trip. He and his family were precise with timing and location pickups and drop offs. Everything went smoothly.
After the wedding we then took a tour of the countryside. Steve was a fabulous driver and took us to places that we never would have seen had we chosen to drive ourselves.
We had a fantastic holiday and I cannot thank Steve, Tina and Matt enough.
