Interesting historic building at the heart of Windsor which has a small museum. A small fee gains entry and the history of Windsor in brief fashion can be enjoyed. Friendly, helpful staff, worth the couple of pounds and worthy of 20 minutes.

Houses the Windsor Museum run by volunteers - worth a visit. Upstairs is the lovely room used for weddings (my son!) where Price Charles and Elton John were married (not to each other!). Many pictures on the walls of past Kings and Queens.

This is the best place to in Windsor to meet someone other than at the train station. There is a souvenir shop in the Guildhall as well as free public toilets for men and ladies beneath the Guildhall. The entrance to Windsor Castle is less...More

This fine building can be easily missed, but is worth seeking out, now The Guildhall of Windsor, it has some interesting history and good Artifacts. Probably made famous in modern times, as Prince of Wales celebrated his second wedding ceremony here.

The guildhall museum is a lovely place full of local history and really interesting interactive displays, but the one we most enjoyed was the guided tour of the first floor rooms and the main meeting room. Richard explained all in a very clear and entertaining...More
