We walked from Virginia Water via the Copper Horse and the Long Walk to Windsor castle. The castle looks even bigger when seen from the South side rather than the usual town side view.

This is a very extensive park owned and managed by the Crown Estates. Cars have to be parked outside the main park area making it a very safe places for walkers, horse riders and cyclists. It is a good idea to look at web sites...More

Always find time for a walk in the park whenever we visit Windsor. Good for picnics if you have the weather, if not take a walk and enjoy the views.

There was a bicycle hire place at The Sun Inn near Saville Gardens but I'm not sure if it is still there
