Quality statue of the Irish guardsman here. Well worth the quick glance and quick visit. We have no real Irish history per say, but the statue is appropriately placed and of high quality.

A fine bronze statue of a modern Irish Guard. Modelled on a serving soldier in the Irag conflict. Found only because I was following queens walkway.

Irish guardsmen statue in Windsor high street is a six foot bronze on a plinth made from bronze salvaged from the Iraq war. Unveiled in 2009. Awesome statue and well worth thinking of their help.

Windsor is a must visit for anyone visiting or indeed for Berkshire locals. There is simply so much history and the Irish Guards are a major part of that history.

As an ex Irish Guardsman, it was great to see this statue standing proudly in the town, where the regiment is so highly thought of. Great workmanship from the sculptor. A great honour for those Micks past- present- and future.

This guard is close to one of the gates to the castle and also the blue letter box that commemorates the first air mail.

This statue is located at the rear entrance to Windsor Castle and is easy to miss. It is not grand but is beautifully designed and crafted.
