It was so interesting to find out about the man who was once our Prime Minister. To discover all the hobbies and the vast collection of art and memorabilia that he acquired during his life time. The guide provided us with an insight on how...More

We were disappointed not to see more (or indeed anything) about Heath's life and times as a politician. There's an interesting room about his military service but nothing about his time in government and opposition.

My toddler and I loved relaxing in the peaceful gardens of Arundells, as well as exploring the dozens of cartoons of former British Prime Minister Heath (the former owner of the house), which was a fascinating and different spin on British history.

This was an "ad hoc" visit e.g. saw the bright blue banner. The house is just lovely and can totally understand how the former prime minister came to choose to live there. Really interesting photographs and momentous. The gardens are unbelievably easy to walk around....More

A very interesting view of the life and interests of one man who had plenty of strings to his bow. The rather under-achieved garden has one of the most brilliant settings imagineable with a view through the wrought iron gates to Salisbury Cathedral. The personal...More

£5 for the gardens. I had a private tour for me and my mate. Cost £12 each. We were lucky with the tour guide.
Do I need to book in advance

It is preferable for the guided tours so as avoid disappontment. Some days we have large group tours and if you were to turn up you may have to wait. Please call on the day (or before) and we will fit you in to a convenient... More
