We visited on a Sunday. The welcome was excellent and the guides all around the house were very friendly and informative.Gardens are a delight and well maintained. Good place to spend a couple of hours.

We were disappointed not to see more (or indeed anything) about Heath's life and times as a politician. There's an interesting room about his military service but nothing about his time in government and opposition.

£5 for the gardens. I had a private tour for me and my mate. Cost £12 each. We were lucky with the tour guide.
