When you enter Arundells you get the feeling Sir Edward as the knowledgeable room guides refer to him has just stepped out. It remains as it was when Ted Heath lived here, with photos of world leaders from his era as a minister and later...More

Superb setting and collection of Edward Heath’s memoirs. Irene one of the room guides is superb as are many of the other very knowledgable guides. One of the best places to visit in Salisbury. Reserve two hours plus for a very worthwhile visit.

Walking to Salisbury Museum you pass by Arundells - the former home of the tale Prime Minister Ted Heath. Stunning house set in beautiful grounds opposite the Cathedral.

The last day before they close for the winter. Really interesting house and inhabitant. Saddest part was the bows of the yacht which sank.

We really enjoyed seeing the house and gardens. There are lots of interesting contents and the room attendants were all very knowledgeable. It gives a fascinating view into the life of Edward Heath and a reminder of a period in history. All particularly relevant given...More

I took a little persuading but Arundells really is a worthwhile visit. Not at all the ossified remnants of a life but something relevant, very personal and all the more insightful for it. The character of an honourable man, driven by the convictions forged in...More

£5 for the gardens. I had a private tour for me and my mate. Cost £12 each. We were lucky with the tour guide.
