Beautiful country house filled with antiques and restored to its former glory. Not worth the entrance fee as quite pricey for the size of the house, but good if you are a member of the National Trust.

A lovely house which used to be the Bishop's residence. A house in which I could easily live. A very peaceful garden and a view over the common which gave this house a great ambience.

Decided to call in after visiting Salisbury Cathedral Worth a look and guides very friendly and helpful. Lots od interesting history but only downside is that most if not all furnishings are not original to the house

Fascinating house which has been restored and restocked by the national trust. Great example of a town house with many stories to tell. Not much for kids to touch so best kept to adults and well behaved sprogs.

Beautiful glassware and a delightful garden. Charming café and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Worth a couple hours of your time before returning to the cathedral.
