Used our Royal Oak membership for access to Mompesson House on our way to Salisbury Cathedral and found it very interesting. The rooms decorated for Christmas at different periods of the house’s history were charming. The volunteers throughout the house were very friendly and informative.

The National Trust at its best. A fine house which is both beautiful and at the same time homely and loved. Glad to visit before it closes after 5 th November. Good and not intrusive stewards.
