When visiting Salisbury it is worth visiting this area of the city as it is historic, the architecture is interesting, the street cobbled and the shops and restaurants independent and different. This street leads to other similar roads which are equally interesting and are within a short walk of the market square.

Once this was a lovely cobbled street but is now spoilt by too many advertising A boards and the uneven cobbles. Butchers Row which leads onto Fish Row is no better with rubbish bins outside restaurants and bars, all very off putting for visitors to Salisbury.

Happened upon this street while walking around Salisbury. There were several shops, restaurants, and places to sit outside. It had a very relaxing vibe to it. It would be a great place to have a drink and people watch.

From Fish Row to Butchers Row in the twinkling of an eye! Just wander leisurely around the centre of Salisbury and enjoy it. The only downside. On a Sunday it seemed to have far too much litter, perhaps after Saturday evening's carousing? A great pity though and much better on Monday.

This is just one of the many historic street in the heart of Salisbury, close to Market Square. I highly recommend a visit to the Tourist Information Office where they will offer suggestions on walks around the city. Fish Row has a range of places to eat and drink, both small and large. You will be spoils for choice.

This is one of the oldest streets in Salisbury. Very close to Market Square & not far from Salisbury Cathederal Plenty of interesting shops to look around together with an abundance of places to eat or drink.

Nice street with lots of interesting old buildings. One of the older parts of Salisbury, close to Main Square and shopping.

This area is fairly interesting. It is at its best on market days when there is plenty going on. I would not make a journey specially to see it but no doubt that is because I have known it for over 70 years.

Fish Row, Ox Row, Poultry Cross, Blue Boar Row and the Market Square are all brilliant and steeped in History. The area has lovely old building mixed with a real modern look of the lovely market square which has recently been refurbished. There are lots of shops pubs and places to eat and the market square looks great at night... More

Loved the fish & chips there. Always love to go to the market square where there are so many other great things Reeve the baker, La Victoria pastries and more.
