First class course in excellent condition considering all the rain we have had recently. Some truly memorable golf holes, the 18th is a great par 4. Pure nostalgia in the clubhouse with memorabilia from the Ryder Cup. Highly recommended!
World class golf course, that epitomizes the best of its architect. Lots of history. Great pleasure to have played it. Real atmospheric Clubhouse. Greens in good condition and much better than its neighbour at Alwoodley.
I last came to Moortown in the mid 80's, to watch the Car Care Plan Open, Faldo, Lyle, Woosnam and many more great players of the era on show.
As soon as you walk into the clubhouse, you know you are in a club with...More

We visited as a fourball midweek as part of a golfing tour. Without mentioning their competitors overall Moortown was considered the best venue we visited all week.
Special mention to the pro shop staff who were very helpful and could not be faulted.
One of the best conditioned courses I,ve ever played. Immaculate from tee to green. The greens were fantastic with subtle borrows and as true as you can get. The clubhouse reeks of history and serves fantastic food and drinks. A real gem and a must...More
