Apart from going the 'wrong way round' on the first floor and not realising until almost the end we found this exhibition to be really interesting. The sound levels at some of the displays was sometimes overbearing when listening to an adjacent exhibit - but that may be just an 'age related issue!' The museum covered a wide range of... More

I really enjoyed this museum. The staff were polite and friendly and the whole experience was a treat. As a history buff, I was looking forward too this and I thought it was a fantastic day out and the little added features. Would recommend!

The museum as a whole is very good but the best part, which makes it worth visiting on its own, is simply superb: a recreation of the squalor of the Leeds slums in 1862. I went here on a date and wasn't sure what to expect. I had no need to fear as its a fascinating place. A bit gruesome but a truthful account of medicine and surgery through the ages. My small nephews have also been and they love it.

Is was £10 for adults to get in so not super expensive. I thoroughly enjoyed the several hours I spent here. It takes... More
