Visited many times and absolutely a delight to walk through, .. hang out at. The gardens are possibly the best in Europe. Will be going to the park every Saturday morning (9am) to join others on the free 5km run (3 laps). Great motivation for the community.

I turned up with my family to do the Parkrun. After the short walk from Frizinghall I was amazed at how well kept, spacious and pretty this park is. The paths are wide and smooth - ideal for a buggy; the buildings are gorgeous and historic - we went into the museum where there was an interesting exhibition of historical... More

Lovely atmosphere different areas to go and explore. Busy areas, quiet tranquil gardens. Something for everyone and there's a lovely cafe and a chance to have a boat ride too. There is also the very famous Cartwright Hall Museum with all it's history. Hope you enjoy it too.

A really lovely and well kept park, we always enjoy a fantastic family day out when we come here. The ice creams are amazing and the children's play facilities are great. It is unfortunate that people litter so much as this attracts vermin, which obviously detracts from the park's appeal.

Well maintained park, plenty of places to walk around and explore. Decent sized play area for children of different ages and some lovely areas for photographs. Well worth a visit!

Beautiful park, a small lake has ducks, a small children's playground. Very nice atmosphere and walk. I tried to find to the toilets but couldn't!! There's a cafe but found it closed!! Huge green and tidy area to set. Well recommended and visit it again.
