Brilliant exhibition on Fox Talbot - the father of modern photography. There is also lots more to see in the museum.

Visited with a young person. Easy access and although it is free we were immediately greeted by staff with a clip board and asked to donate £3 to the up keep....so made to feel embarrassed if you refuse...However we did contribute. We started at the top floor accessing it via the lift and meandered our way down via the stairs... More

A well laid out exhibition with plenty of surprises. Always something new to see and experience. The building is very near the town centre and the Alhambra Theatre. It has a cafe which is well worth a visit. This venue is a great place to spend an afternoon with the children.

Some wonderful displays. I particularly enjoyed the bfi facility and the games room. We didn't visit the cinemas, so I can'y comment. Worth a visit ... and it's free.

I have visited this museum very frequently from a young age. Have always been somewhere to go in the heart of the city. Free entrance, fun things to do, a very different experience. I visited the museum recently and it's still very much the same (which isn't a bad thing). As I am a big fan of Harry Potter. I... More

Afternoon visit. Museum is not like it used to be with much smaller displays. Staff helpful. In house restaurant was excellent in terms of food and service.

Been here many times but today it was to view the Fox Talbot exhibition. The museum itself is well recommended in its own right but the Fox Talbot exhibition is great for those interested in photography history.

We went as a last resort when we were let down by the weather. We weren't expecting too much from this place because it's free to get in but the museum provides a journey through the age of media and associated technology. We had a 8 year old boy with us and he really enjoyed himself too. There were lots... More

Can't recommend this place enough. Great film and location easy booking online and great price for family ticket of 4 at less than £40. Can park all day in nearby Broadway shopping centre for £3. All films should be watched in IMAX 3D format. Glasses included in the price. When finished you can then look around the rest of the... More
