if you are in Coventry and bored go here and avoid paying to go into the cathedral, great exhibits nice feel to it, my only criticism would be the Lady Godiva stuff, it never happened and it being displayed in the same way as there world war 2 exhibition seems wrong

There number of painting etc is not huge but its interesting. Makes a great morning or afternoon visit. Has an interactive things for the kids to do too so... More

A nice gallery space across multiple rooms. There are several rooms dedicated to 'traditional art' (but don't expect masses of Grand Masters) and a large space that is used for short-term exhibitions which are varied and interesting. Over the last couple of years I've visited to see Wildlife Photography, A Children's Television collection and a Lego exhibition. Always nice to... More

The Herbert is always a good afternoon out, friendly staff, clean facilities and a tasty cafe. Went to have a look at the portrait exhibition which was interesting and with the added bonus of a mobile device to listen to when walking around to give you background information on the artist and portrait
