A lovely parkland owned by Coventry City Council. Parking is not cheap, and requires you to put your number plate into the machine to be printed onto the ticket to stop transferring them, therefore it is best to go for a minimum of half a day. That said there is plenty to do. There are toilets in a block that... More

This park has a range of activities and interest. There is something for families, dog walkers (very safe), nature lovers (early morning) and joggers. There are often varied events hosted. The Rangers offer activities suitable for various age groups. Only drawback is the parking is expensive for short visits but this quality has to be funded.

Went to Coombe Abbey for cream tea with friends, lovely cream tea , value for money, we also took a walk around the gardens and grounds. The gardens were beautiful and they had some viewing sheds were you could view the herons and other wildlife, very enjoyable afternoon.

A wonderful scenic place place for a relaxing day out : meadows, lake and woods plus a well thought out children's play area, which is situated near the park entrance and picnic areas. Cafe, shop and toilets are also available. Formal gardens surround the abbey grounds, and these are enhanced by water features which are home to swans, ducks, moorhens... More

Coombe abbey is a stunning country park, packed with gorgeous picnic ares and bbq areas. The park is full of wildlife. It would take you weeks to get round it all. The car parking machines are typically useless though and the rate is high.
