Wanted to go to the cinema with a friend but couldn't face a roomful of noisy popcorn chompers. Thought we'd give this a try. Costs a little more but well worth it. We will be back. A lovely experience.

We visited the Electric Cinema on recommendation and wasn't disappointed at all. Intimate friendly venue with great atmosphere. Brilliant view from main seats so don't worry about it being small best views ever. can't wait to go back and try the settees.

I love cinema - always have done - but find that I miss most of the dialogue because of the way the sound is presented (not sure what it is, but there we go). Not so in the Electric. Seated in one of their oh-so-comfy...More

A nostalgic cinema in the heart of the city, often showing minority interest films. Although the general feel of the cinema is pleasant, nice seating with drinks and snacks available, the big let down is the awful foul smelling mens toilets (don't know if the...More

There is an NCP car park 3 mins walk from the cinema opposite the Victoria pub. The cinema will verify your ticket and reduce the fee to £3 for up to 5 hours.
