The entire canalside around the Brindley Place area is alive with bars & restaurants you can take boat trips or walk the towpath out of the city, and in only a mile or so you would think you were in the middle of the country...More

Lovely experience..walk over the canal side is calm and relaxing at the same time can become a intimate place for a cosy chat in one of the quaint cafes on the side or become fun and active just a short distance away where big malls...More

Regardless of weather, nothing beats a stroll along the canals and with the added excitement of various types of pubs, bars, resturants, cafes... their is something for everyone.. with a friendly atmosphere and vibe.. its perfect place to unwind.

I love walking along the canal, even if it's just quickly on my way back from work. It's great to run along too. They're great for wildlife too, I've seen a heron many times.
