We have been to this theatre several times now, and only my laziness has delayed a review. Very well organised, and the productions have been excellent. Easy parking; a well stocked bar where pre break drinks can be ordered. Teas & Coffee's served in the entrance area at the break as an alternative. Worth seeking out via map or A-Z... More

Brilliant little theatre, where they put on very good productions of a variety of plays. Also have a panto every year which is great for the whole family. Very friendly volunteers, and a small bar with nice seating area. always provide tea and coffee for sale in interval as well as drinks from the bar. Very good value.

The plays/shows that this theatre puts on is as good as any professional production. Just seen Dial M for Murder and it was a brilliant production. Other productions to note, off the top of my head, The Vicar of Dibley, Brief Encounter, The Ladykillers & Shirley Valentine to mention just a few. The theatre offers free parking and has a... More

Having lived in the area for years I'm ashamed to say I'd never been until tonight and I was impressed! Lovely little theatre with a bar area. I went to see Dial M for Murder and the acting and production was as good as you'd get at The Rep for £10. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

My Mum and I have become regular visitors to the wonderful HGLT. It is a charming venue, with top quality productions. We have never been disappointed. The Ladykillers was superb, Brief Encounter a triumph, Shirley Valentine exceptional and The Dark Road engrossing and mind boggling, in a good way. We cannot recommend this theatre highly enough. Also excellent value for... More

Hall Green Little Theatre is consistently excellent. Inexpensive (£8 - £10), friendly, excellent productions with the acting as good as (or better than) many professional companies. We have just seen Shirley Valentine - a one woman show acted to a phenomenal standard. It was amazing how an amateur actress can be on stage solo for nearly two hours, word perfect,... More

Seen several things here and the quality is fabulous. My favourite productions are the Youth Theatre as the stories are really interesting and intriguing. The director, Roy Palmer, has high standards and gets fantastic performances from his casts. Never think because it's amateurs that it won't be less than brilliant. I saw Blythe Spirit, at HGLT, just before Angela Lansbury... More

I am continuously impressed by the productions staged at this theatre. The acting is far beyond that expected of amateurs and all for £10. Well worth a visit

Have just got back from Panto, Robin Hood this year, lovely theatre, took our Church group of kids, as we do every year from St Marys , Acocks Green. Have always found the productions if high quality for amateurs. The Panto mixes the adults with the youth theatre which is great to support. As already mentioned, lovely bar without the... More

There are some brilliant productions from this small friendly theatre. Recently saw Fawlty Tower which was excellently executed with great casting. A must to see are the 'Farndale's' which have you laughing from the moment you arrive until the e d. As an avid theatre goer I feel very lucky to have a local theatre (which is very reasonably priced)... More
