About
Uncover a world of chocolate delights and enjoy a fascinating, fun-packed day out at Cadbury World. From learning how your favourite confectionery is made and uncovering the fascinating story of Cadbury chocolate, to playing in chocolate rain and adding your favourite treat to a delicious pot of warm liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk. You'll discover the origins of the cocoa bean amidst trees and waterfalls in the Aztec Jungle, before jumping on board the magical Cadabra ride and visiting the brand new 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, a 4D cinema experience featuring Cadbury's most popular characters. Visited here a couple of years back, was busy but a fun day out. The kids loved it! The smell of chocolate in the village of Bournemouth was amazing. Hopefully will visit again in the not to distant future

Visited with my husband and 3 year old, we visited back in 2007 so was expecting ally to have changed.
We started with the 4D experience which was clever but short, then their was a Christmas panto on which our son loved and perfect at about 25 mins long- the actors worked really hard and a big shoutout to them.
The park area is great but the weather wasn’t and there isn’t really much of an undercover which is a shame.
We headed to the cafe before our tour which was reasonably priced and could order pm our phones.
The shop is big and lots of discounts but not anything you couldn’t get in a supermarket really- I was hoping their would be some special / different things to buy.
The self guided tour is what you make it- you can go fast and miss lots of read and take it all in! I understand there is a lot of empty corridors etc but I think they have defo made an improvement to when i last visited.
The real shame is you don’t get to see the inside of a working factory and only thing we saw was some decorating chocolate by some staff.
The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, yes the activity’s could be a lot better and there is improvement needed on that.
Overall we had a good time- our toddler son loved it - that was the main thing! I agree with others i wouldn’t come without kids.

As adults going to fulfil a dream attending Cadbury World - the most incredible waste of a day.

The 4D Experience was good but lasted 2 mins at most. The tour had good intentions but was boring, and all felt very outdated in long, bare corridors. There was nothing to do, no factory, no chocolate making, we expected more.

The most disappointing aspect for us were the uninterested staff. While we stood at the chocolate tempering table the lady there didn’t even engage with us or say a word, we lost interest quickly.

We then headed to the chocolate writing table adjacent and 3 staff members just stared at us whilst we awaited them to clean the tables so we could have a go - they didn’t. We again lost interest!

Not a place I’d recommend to adults especially at that price. Cherish your time and your money.

Although there were signs saying that masks are compulsory, there were many visitors who were not wearing them which made me feel unsafe. I understand that it might not be possible to enforce this rule but I really do think that staff should ensure that clients are wearing them properly at all times.

The car park was rather busy but unlike other attractions, there was nobody around to help out.

Visited today with 4 kids ranging between 5 and 15. Tour was at 11.40 so went to playground, 4d experience and Santa show beforehand. All of these the kids enjoyed so we had high expectations for the tour. However, it went downhill after that. It isn’t a factory and you don’t see how any of the chocolate is made. There is a lot of long empty corridors to walk down, photo opportunities you can’t bypass. The chocolate writing and tempering is very lazy overall and no effort is made from staff whatsoever. The place is quite dirty and staff looked like their aprons and masks hadn’t been changed for weeks. The person at the chocolate sampling area looked like she had been feeding herself through the mask with chocolate it was that dirty! Considering what we are all going through with the pandemic at the moment I find this astonishing. Well done to Santa.. Don’t waste your money.

On arrival, it is massive to look at, and the staff at front desk are very helpful. The whole experience was fab. All that I would recommend is that you don’t take younger children, my little boy is nearly 2 and there was so much information and a screen/story to watch and he wasn’t interested at all. The chocolate writing bench is a little too tall for younger ones to enjoy too, maybe put in a children’s size one aswell. The ladies who take the photo mid way (which you can stand on a chocolate bar or in the bath) were so assertive, lovely and made taking a photo with a 23 month old and a 3 month old all that easier. At the start there was so much chocolate given to you, it makes you feel the value for money. It was great and we will be doing it again but when our babies are older, haha!

Enjoyable and magical experience on the Cadbury World tour - suitable for kids and grown up big kids. Felt like entering Wonka's factory in the film. Interesting and engaging. Would recommend.

This is a really good day out for people of all ages, having not been since I was a kid (and not remembering much) it was great to experience Cadbury’s world as an adult.

Me and my wife really enjoyed learning the history of how Cadbury came to be, walking around the factory and seeing how chocolate is made. The vintage adverts for all the different products were amazing and some a blast from the past.

The gift shop at the end of the museum is awesome with so much of the chocolate being cheaper than retail price and it is safe to say we brought so much chocolate!

I highly recommend this day out for people of all ages, a great value for money.

Visited Cadburys World last Sunday and we all had a blast!! The Santa show was amazing, so traditional and magical, my four year old and seven year old were mesmerised. The 4d cinema was brill and the kids loved the activities inside the factory.

The only thing I would suggest is taking a water bottle, there are plenty of fill up stations scattered around the factory. We forgot our bottles and the queues for drinks were so long. There are vending machines but at £2.50 a bottle.

Always wanted to visit the makers of Cadbury's Dairy Milk. Visited here on a cold Monday in November. We went as a couple and when booking booked the Afternoon Cream Tea. This was a good choice, we had to take some of it away with us. Our visit was informative and entertaining although I would say (As you may expect) Lots of the facilities and displays are aimed at young children. Although I think the child in me was showing in the 4D theatre experience which was good fun. All in all a good day facilitated by some great staff.
