The revamp is well underway and there are tower cranes. BUT this is still a stunning feature of the city. Lovely building and open space. Very nice place to visit and close to New Street.

When finished it will be ace but at the moment its just a massive construction plot obscured by boards ...... so for the next year or so avoid as there is nothing to see.

Massive redevelopment in this area masks the square and its building. Once complete the area will get a great boost

Lots of work going on in the area at the moment - the Square is being redeveloped but will be amazing when finished, with the water feature working!

The area is lined with high panels with a lot of building work going on behind them making it difficult to walk around and explore the area at the moment.

There was a concert underway when we visited to welcome back the commonwealth competitors and to handover the games to Birmingham in 2022. Great party atmosphere

We had put Centenary Square on our list of places to visit, but what a surprise that this square had been transferred into one huge building site. Hopefully it will regain its beauty soon and everyone will be able to enjoy it again.
