make sure that you also visit the dungeon, and spend some time watching the free documentary available... an extremely interesting story, and wonderful building!

Found this gem while exploring some of Warwick. Could have spent a few hours here. Fascinating! The tower is a little claustrophobic but well worth the 160 steps to the top. Stunning views. If you are going to Warwick then this is definitely a place to visit.

Whilst the gorgeous little town of Warwick is probably more widely known for its rather large Castle, I do think that the Church of St Mary's should get more of the tourist and visitor limelight. St Mary’s Church is an historic landmark and a parish church. Beautiful Norman building with amazing crypt and ducking stool, Thomas Beauchamp tomb, Fulke Greville monument, nave, tower and many more historic graves. The Beauchamp chapel which is very gorgeous.

Visited the Church which is very interesting and helpful guides are there to relay information. Climbed the 160 steps of the tower to enjoy the views of Warwick. Well worth it.

Well worth a visit. Downstairs there is a DVD to watch which gives the history, and then the best part is the Beauchamp Chantry.

Went in for a quick tour. In the crypt there is a short DVD of the history of the church which is good. The highlight is of course the Beauchamp chapel which is very ornate.
