Free access into the Church but had to pay 3 pounds/person to access the tower. The Church is really interesting with a den and many tombs. It gives you the chance to submerse a bit in the fluid history af England. The tower not great,...More

Warwick has been careless with fire. The castle suffered a fire in the 19th century and the central area of the town was virtually destroyed in the Great Fire of 1694. Fortunately the chancel and the Beauchamp Chapel survived, with their monuments and stunning gothic...More

This fine church stands proud in the heart of the very pretty town of Warwick. Its tower is high and dominants the skyline. Inside it is a well kept church with lots of history. Well worth a browse.

The church was open at 5pm to coincide with the begining of the Victorian market. All the Christmas Trees were decorated for the Christmas Tree Festival and the people staffing it had dressed accordinly. The overall effect was stunning.

I went to this church during a visit to Warwick, there is no charge to visit. There is some impressive stained glass and also large tombs, well worth a visit, recommended.
