Henley street is a great place to visit. Statues, Shakespeare birthplace centre and multiple cafes and specialty shops. Worth a visit.

This is a fun pedestrian street in the center of town with great coffee shops, some touristy shops and other interesting shops to walk into.

OK for passing through. Some nice little shops and rather steep so not good for some people who have difficulty walking.

Our self guided walk through the town started here, so it was good to get our bearings and see what the town had to offer. Some lovely old buildings, a few Shakespeare related statues and, of course, Shakespeare's birthplace (closed on day we were there!) Just amble up and down, take time to browse the shops and buildings and stop off for a cream tea in the shop near the bottom of the road.

Lots of local shops and olde buildings. Such a lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff. Great for a leisurely sunny afternoon browse.

Henley Street is superb. The all year Christmas Shop along with the Peter the Rabbit shop all add the wonderful tapestry which is Henley Street - not forgetting the fabulous Tudor architecture

Plenty of quirky shops and some
Very interesting buildings too. Nice to wander around without any traffic passing by. Lots of places to a tea and cake too. Very cleans and tidy.

The town is lovely and just like I had imagined when I was in school reading all about Shakespeare and his life.
We had a quick look around the street and had photos outside the house.

Time seems to pass this street by! If you've been here before, nothing has changed, still got the same eclectic mix of shops, souvenir shops, eateries, speciality foodstuffs,Teddy Bear shop,Christmas decorations shop,William Shakespeare's house,aha..... what's this.... a new statue of the Bard himself!
Since we visited pre-covid pandemic,a new statue has been erected, not far from his house, which is illuminated at night.
Apart from this, everything still the same, well worth the visit.
