This is near Shakespere's final home, well worth a visit. It dates back to 1269, it has a long association with Shakespere and his family, well worth a visit, recommended.

This is a great place to visit in Stratford and it is free but I think every visitor should pop some money into the collection box. There are some great wall murals on display and others will be revealed when money is available.

This chapel is a hidden gem, and it's free! We stumbled in to it by accident and were very surprised by the quality of the wall painting. There are useful guides around the site explaining its history.

The Guild Chapel is across from New Place and definitely worth a visit. There is no entrance fee though donations are welcome. In the 16th century, John Shakespeare, William’s father, was made to cover the medieval religious paintings. These were rediscovered and are amazing! It...More

An interesting building open to the public. The highlight is the 'Doom' - an uncovered medieval frieze depicting the dead rising from their graves and going to heaven or hell.

Not much to see, there were some paintings revealed on the walls and they need donations to uncover more.

Not only beautiful and easily accessible this beautiful little church occupies an important place in history. It is very interesting particularly the recently discovered wall paintings. This is not touristy but worthy of a visit

This seemed like the iconic English Church/Chapel. It was filled with history and wonderful architecture and of course there were the windows. How did they pack such goodies in such a small place?
