Visited the Chapel while walking around Stratford, it is a lovely little place next to Shakespeares house. There is plenty of history to read upon and some beautiful wall painting which have been referbished, a good place to pop in and have a look around.

Thousands of tourists must pass this little church by each year, as they walk between New Place and Halls Croft, so missing some wonderful rare historic gems that Shakespeare must have seen. The church has the remains of a complete suite of Medieval wall-paintings, some...More

This is near Shakespere's final home, well worth a visit. It dates back to 1269, it has a long association with Shakespere and his family, well worth a visit, recommended.

This is a great place to visit in Stratford and it is free but I think every visitor should pop some money into the collection box. There are some great wall murals on display and others will be revealed when money is available.

This chapel is a hidden gem, and it's free! We stumbled in to it by accident and were very surprised by the quality of the wall painting. There are useful guides around the site explaining its history.

The Guild Chapel is across from New Place and definitely worth a visit. There is no entrance fee though donations are welcome. In the 16th century, John Shakespeare, William’s father, was made to cover the medieval religious paintings. These were rediscovered and are amazing! It...More

This church is an integral part of the history of the town, and gets mentioned at both New Place and Shakespeare's Schoolroom and Guildhall. In this year commemorating 500 years of Reformation it was interesting to get a glimpse of how decorated the inside of...More

This is a beautiful guild chapel, detailing (in the stained glass and beautiful tapestried illustration) the guilds and powerbrokers of Stratford's past. It is wonderfully serene, quiet and beautiful - and all the more wonderful for being in the heart of the main streets of...More

An interesting building open to the public. The highlight is the 'Doom' - an uncovered medieval frieze depicting the dead rising from their graves and going to heaven or hell.
