You can walk, cycle, run, ride your horse, exercise your dog and watch the wildlife along this impressive and important leisure facility. There’s something for the whole family – bike hire, two cafes, picnic areas, the River Avon and traffic-free enjoyment of the countryside. Moreover, apart from reasonable car parking charges it’s free! Being a dismantled railway, it’s a straight... More

This is our local family bike route. Flat, easy riding and a good way into Stratford without having to face parking. Railway carriage cafe at two points along the way offering snacks, tea, coffee etc. Easy diversion to pub at Long Marston. We always enjoy our cycle rides here.

It is one of the activities we had in Stratford-upon-Avon. They have many different types of bicycle according to personal request. There are different routes where you can choose whether is 5 or 7 miles. Like the view along the ride, did had great time cycling around Stratford-upon-Avon

Very easy to navigate, good parking, smooth path only a few potholes. Wheelchair, cycle, horse and pedestrian friendly. We began our walk at Milcote Picnic Area walked to Long Marston then retraced our steps and stopped at Carriages 5344 Cafe for refreshments and a toilet stop. Very friendly proprietor, good choice of refreshments including some alternative teas. We then carried... More

First time out trying brand new bikes so i guess this was a good starting point to get used to the gears etc but as others have said, no real variation in terrain or scenery... Very annoying that you have to get off your bike regularly to carry it over gates and obstacles. Not a circuit, so when you get... More

Has a couple of car parks away from Stratford if you just want to explore the far end. A great walk from the river past the Church and theatre and on into the country. Can be from a mile to 8 miles according to your fancy.

10 mile round trip along level route from near race course to near Long Marston. Disappointing that parking is no longer free.

It is a lovely place to take the dog for a stroll along the old railway track via the racecourse from Stratford to Long Marston which in the old days went all the way to Cheltenham.

The paths are surfaced and in reasonable state. The hedgerows are well kept. Downside is it's not a circuit, so it is back the way you came on dead flat path. Hedge is full of berries & bird life.
