Went on the 8pm ghost walk, was ok. Just walking through the building in the dark whilst being told a few ghost stories. When reading about it on their website it seems abit hyped up. Not scary at all. Not a bad price for hearing abit of local history in a spooky building. The tour guide was good and in... More

Dear Sam, thank you for your review which is very similar to the previous review for the same reason. You have recently visited the Warwick Castle Dungeons (which is a scare attraction). Many people experience real paranormal activity on our ghosts tours. Some people find this very scary, whilst some people prefer 'fake' scares, with people jumping out at you.... More

Visited the house on 26th November .. firstly staff very friendly and welcoming . After going through the Health and safety brief we entered the house and had our first story in the reception room all very interesting , moving through the house it was evident the guide ebeneezer was very informed on his subject. I felt maybe that more... More

Dear Trevor, thank you for your lovely review. We assume you are commenting on the evening ghost tour? In response to comparisons with 'scare attractions', we find that visitors prefer good old-fashioned story-telling in an historic building with genuine ghost stories to people 'jumping out' at you in the dark. Also, to employ so many actors would require a substantial... More

It's a fantastic introduction to the Tudor period and our mixed age range group thoroughly enjoyed the visit. "Thomas" was a delight and kept popping up to inform and entertain us. We loved it all and would definitely recommend a visit - fun and educational what's not to like?!! One thing though it isn't buggy/pram friendly and once inside you... More

Went on the ghost tour, did not see anything suspicious and even though the bulding was only small it was a good /different way of hearing about the buildings past!

We had a great time going around with John. Stories were brilliant, only going round with just his lantern really added to the atmosphere. Not for the faint hearted or children.

A rather tired exhibit, clearly made up in part at least of material recycled from previous attractions. If you are a complete newcomer to the Tudors then this will give you a flavour of the basics. If you already know anything about them then you will not find anything very fresh or stimulating.

Small, shabby but lots of fun. Great building, interactive for children, lots of information to read, touch and look at. Allows an insight into life in Tudor times. Takes an hour. No cafe or toilets. Well worth it.

A small and compact museum detailing the history of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Packed with information, and plenty of 'hands-on' and interactive elements. Very visual, as the museum is set out in the Tudor period. Well worth a visit.
