I went with the little ones on a hot day, and the outdoor pool was awesome. Certainly worth the time to cool off and splash around! There's also a great little play area outside for the younger kids too.

We take our kids to the pool every Saturday for swimming lessons. The teachers are really good. Other staff do appear bored though.

Pool is decent with the added benefit of an outdoor pool for the hotter days of summer. Not the largest of pools but lots of natural light and pool attendants very visible the showers are of the old style with no individual cubicles etc which lets it down a little. Classes ongoing and a schedule you can find online. Spinner... More

Don't go swimming but that park is lovely. Two play areas one for older and one for younger children. A nice sandpit there and plenty of tables for a picnic. My grandson loves to feed the ducks and fish there in the lake

Didn't swim but used the Park area with our grandchildren and we were very impressed with how clean and tidy it was. There was also a lovely brass band playing very nice afternoon

A well used indoor and outdoor pool, fun sessions for the kids and the wonderful parklands and lake, park and castle close by, parking not so expensive and some free on road parking nearby. The cafe has chips and sandwiches, sweets and ice cream and the people who run it are very good. Entrance fee applies to the pool but... More
