Beautiful building. Volunteer run theatre that produces excellent plays - huge variety and always well executed. I attend regularly and have never been disappointed. To show the range, their two latest productions were Trainspotting and The 39 Steps. If you want an entertaining evening at...More

First visit since this venue was updated. A lot of money been spent on the bar area, allowing much better use of the space. Auditorium a bit warm but the play was excellent, good night out and not as expensive as the mainstream theatre.

A well run theatre with helpful friendly staff. Nicely stocked reasonably priced bar. Very accessible. Limited parking but parking in the near by streets seems to be the ‘norm’.

This is a 500 seat theatre run by volunteers with productions every month, all by amateurs. V high standard and enjoyable. Front of house has recently been refurbished, and has a friendly bar. Go, and support local theatre!

Following a typically awkward / off-colour gang show we tried to leave via the green signs marked 'EXIT' rather than the emergency exits. Round the corner, down the stairs. Padlocked. They had used firecrackers and pyrotechnics during the performance. The consequences of such incompetence are...More
