Grainer Town, the historic heart of the city and Grainger Market is without doubt the very best part of it. The an indoor market and an 19th century development to replace the old markets back in the days. There’s lots of quirky, independent and boutique...More

Lovely covered market. Huge variety of different businesses within, selling anything from pizza by the slice to work wear.

This is a very nice early 19th century covered market that is well worth a visit. Lots and lots of shops to view and visit. It reminds me of a number of covered markets in Spain which we just loved. You certainly won't find markets...More

We were in Newcastle for three days before we discovered this market place. It reminded us of markets from days gone by. There is so much on offer and it is worth visiting if only for the experience.
