An interesting house with much detail relating to the ancestors of George Washington. The gardens are small but certainly worth a walk round. Small car park. There is a tea room serving drinks and snacks. Worth stopping for.

This National trust property was very interesting and great for all the family, even the 2 year old enjoyed looking for the mice. Beautiful garden and a lovely tea room to sit out and enjoy the sun.

This is a small National Trust property. The Hall has a fascinating history; the garden is pretty, has a small play area so you could picnic with children. While you're there it's worth taking a stroll round Washington village as well.

Really impressive little Hall and gardens with alot of history. Well worth a visit but would keep away from when the American cruise liners are in!

This is one of the smallest National Trust properties. Despite this it is worth visiting because it is well restored and laid out. Obviously the name attracts most people as the ancestral home of the George Washington family but the great man never visited the...More
