Myself and my 10 year old daughter went on the BBC Newcastle tour on Saturday. We both found it really interesting. Would recommend it for people with children of a similar age. Our tour guides were really helpful and informative.

Took a group of media students last week and they were all buzzing afterwards. Not only because of the content that was directly relevant to their chosen career paths but for the way it was delivered - informative, interesting and IT WAS A BLAST :)

Great tour with a bunch of friends from the WI. Geordie was a fantastic tour guide. Articulate and informative as well as making it fun. Thanks also to Victoria for helping us make our radio play and local newscast. Highly recommended couple of hours.More

Great time at the tour with my 9 and 11 year old. Well worth a visit if interested in TV. Got to visit T.V studios, see T.V sets. Tour takes about 1.5 hours in total. Interesting for adults too.

Hi Ami M, yes you do have to buy a ticket to come on a tour. You can purchase online at the BBC shows and tours website thanks for the interest.
