Cosy little bar - it's like stepping back in time to when pubs were pubs and had an ambience. Its like an oasis of substanance amongst a sea of banality. Good beers, good service.

With all bars wanting to be super modern it is so refreshing to visit this place that has kept its character through the years, the record player provides the music, has a snug !!!! Even the stained glass windows have a story from the past

Old bar with interesting history close to the quayside beneath the bridge, with a good selection of local beers, worth an investigation.

When we are in Newcastle we always visit the Crown Posada there is always a good selection of real ales and the staff are really welcoming.I love that they have the old record player in the corner.Will always return here.

first time visitor , a narrow pub with a great selection of beers and music from an old record player for those who can remember what a record player was hopefully i will return the next time on the quay side
