This is a beautiful area of the city centre to visit. The classical architecture is magnificent and the Central Arcade is a fascinating throwback to Victorian times.

Definitely worth a visit, there’s everything here - greengrocers, butchers, fishmongers, a huge variety of fast food stalls, clothes...... and in a lovely setting.

Grainger market is a lovely undercover huge market selling everything you can think of. It has a lovely atmosphere and there are several places to stop and have a snack and a drink.

I believe it is also know as Windows arcade ( after the music store in the arcade). Located in the heart of Newcastle surrounded by various streets and shops

This is a lovely indoor old style market. Lots of food stalls and clothing, and so many other things! It was just great to walk around and look at everything. Would recommend if your in the area.

lovely old indoor market with lots of stalls selling a variety of things from meat, fish, clothing,fruit & veg. some good eating places at reasonable prices. but look up to the roof not to be missed.

There is no entrance fee for the Grainger Market. It's still a bustling retail market with a wide variety of goods on offer. Just browse, look around at the architecture and, who knows, perhaps make a purchase or two... More

Yes that's correct Liverpool has over 2,500 listed buildings including many Grade 1 and Grade 2* properties.
